Graeme Dreghorn

Graeme Dreghorn is a Partner at Azets Wealth Management and a financial planner based in Glasgow, Scotland. He leads the Glasgow Wealth team and specialises in financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. He is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services.

Graeme joined Azets in February 2023 to build the Glasgow office. Under his leadership, the team has grown to more than 20 colleagues and continues to expand. He combines hands-on advice for his own clients with a commitment to developing the team, so that they can find new ways to deliver better advice and better outcomes for clients.

Graeme takes a holistic, client-centred approach to financial planning. He builds a detailed understanding of each client’s goals, values and circumstances before making any recommendations, and he uses cashflow modelling to help clients see their financial future clearly and make decisions with confidence. His plans are designed to be robust, and to adapt as life changes. Many of his client relationships span a decade or more, and he often advises several generations of the same family.

Graeme got into financial planning because he enjoys helping people. He finds the day-to-day work rewarding it is a technical specialism that demands careful thinking and creativity, and it gives him the chance to make a real difference to clients and their families. He gets to know them so well that he becomes a trusted part of their lives.

Outside work, Graeme is a husband and a dad to two boys and holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo.
